My Story

My name is Amanda and I am a born and raised Alaskan who lives in the quiet countryside of Wasilla, AK. I enjoy an active lifestyle of hiking, camping, hunting, and off-roading! Some people may say I'm a little crazy but I just blame it on the Alaskan that's in me.

I never used to consider myself a traveler or one who was interested in doing overseas mission work, but after a life-changing trip abroad based in Japan, my views have drastically changed. I am now an intern, working as a collegiate/university missionary through my local college campus, with a strong desire to once again return to the nations and share the Gospel.

My goal for this blog is to not only talk about my travels or random stories, but also offer encouragement and understanding to common life questions and experiences. How do we handle the ups and downs in life? How do we know if we are making the right choice for *insert dilemma*? How can we boldly go out into the world where there is so much uncertainty?

It's simple really: we are to be Led By Faith and to Walk Through Life With Christ.
